The Valmiki Road, where Maharani’s College of Commerce and Management is located, is a beautiful stretch known for its canopy of trees. However, the problem that stares at the face of motorists and the pedestrians who walk on this road is the threat of falling branches and twigs as most of them have gone dry.
This has caused anxiety not only to the two–wheeler and four-wheeler drivers but also to the girl students of the college as they fear that the dry branches and twigs could fall on them anytime causing injuries to their lives or even fatal accidents.
Hence, the locals have appealed to the Mysuru City Corporation to immediately take action to clear the dry branches of the trees at the earliest before monsoon sets in and thus prevent any untoward incidents.
