Ch. Hill step-climbing tomorrow to pray for rains

Members of Karnataka Janapara Vedike will climb the steps to Chamundi Hill tomorrow and offer special puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari to evoke divine blessings for copious rains in the State. The members will commence their padayatra at 10 am from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple to Chamundi Hill. All through the route, the members will chant the slogan ‘Plant sapling – Drive away drought’ thus creating awareness among people on protection of environment. Vedike State President Kere Chaluvali Ramesh Gowda, in a press release, has appealed public to participate in the event.
