KSRTC to operate free buses to Chamundi Hill from 4 am to 8 pm

With private vehicles banned atop Chamundi Hill on all Ashada Fridays (July 5, 12, 19, 26), the KSRTC will operate free buses from Lalitha Mahal Helipad to the Hill temple from 4 am to 8 pm on all Fridays. Accordingly, all bus services to the Hill top will be stopped after 8 pm. Also, the gates of Chamundi Hill footsteps will be open for the devotees only after 3 am on Ashada Fridays. City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna, in a press release, has appealed the Chamundeshwari devotees to come to the footsteps only after 3 am.
