BAI felicitates meritorious children of construction workers

Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, in association with Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT), felicitated meritorious children of the construction workers who had scored more than 65% marks in the recently concluded SSLC and II PUC examination at a function held at MBCT Auditorium here recently.

The programme commenced with the invocation by H.S. Venkatesh Prasad. B.S. Dinesh, Chairman, BAI, Mysore Centre, welcomed and gave a brief report about the activities of BAI.

Chief guest Shyamala, who has been selected for PSI post, spoke about the importance of gaining and improving knowledge. 

T.N. Hemanth, Hon. Secretary, MBCT, was present. A total of 34 meritorious students were felicitated. They are as follows:

Lakshmi (93.16%), G. Kavya (92.33%),  G. Gagangopal (91.83%), H.N. Darshan (91.16%), B. Bindupoornima (89.66%), R. Ambika (89.33%), N.S. Rashmitha (88%), D. Ramyashree (86.33%), K.S. Praveena (83.66%), M. Sukanya (82.66%), K. Harshitha (82%), M. Nirupama (79.83%), K. Nischitha (78.33%), D. Kiran (77%), M.P. Spandana (71.66%), R. Rohan (71.66%) and H. Aishwarya (68.5%). The students were awarded cash prizes. Spoorthi (BAI Ladies Wing) President Anitha Sridhar distributed cash prize to two girl toppers.
