Mysuru: Dr. Shen Ming Chen, Distinguished Professor, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan, acknowledged the yeomen services of the management of GSSS done to the society in particular the women fraternity.
He was speaking after inaugurating the International Conference on Adaptive Computational Intelligence (ICACI-2019) organised in technical collaboration with Springer at the Seminar Hall at GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) here recently.
He highlighted the importance of Electro Chemical Biosensors and its elements and how biosensors are used to detect chemical substances. Also, the recent R&D trends and extensive applications in industries were discussed.
He also spoke about the evolution of Diabetics Technology, Metal-oxide Sensors applications, Nano-Materials, Gold-nano particles, Graphene semiconductors, RGO based bio sensors, Carbon based electrodes and Advanced instrumentation.
He shared the scope of research in the fields of Biosensors and advised the young researchers to carry out research in the area of Biosensors.
Anupama B. Pandit, Administrative Officer, GSSSIETW, gave the genesis and the milestones in the development of Institute since 2003.
Dr. Joseph Emerson Raja of Multimedia University, Malaysia, was guest of honour. Programme Chair of the Conference, ICACI 2019, Dr. C.P. Gutpa of IIT Roorkee was also present.
B.V. Srinivasa Guptha, Vice-President, GSSS, delivered the presidential address.
O. Pratap Kumar, Joint Secretary, GSSS, Mysuru, R.K. Bharath, Board Member & CEO, GSSS, Mysuru and Ashok Shenoy, Board Member, were also present during the inauguration.
This Conference attracted 212 high-quality research papers from authors worldwide related to all aspects of Adaptive Computational Intelligence and 62 papers were accepted for presentation in the Conference.
The papers presented in the Conference that have passed rigorous triple blind reviews and those which have met Springer Publication standards will be published by Springer.
Authors from abroad that include USA, China, Ireland, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and from different parts of the country namely New Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka have presented their papers in the conference.
