On a rain-hit day, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA), helped by a fighting knock of 50 by Rahul Batham, posted a total of 219 in 89.4 overs and had reduced Andhra CA to 4 for two in 3.1 overs before intermittent rain halted the second day’s play in the Group-D tie of the Dr. Capt. K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament-2019 played at the JSS-SJCE Grounds here yesterday.

MPCA: 219 in 89.4 overs (Rajat Patidar 84, Rahul Batham 50, K.V. Sasikanth 3 for 49, P. Girinath Reddy 3 for 60) Vs Andhra CA: 4 for 2 in 3.1 overs.

Jharkhand State CA: 141 in 41.5 overs Vs KSCA President’s XI: 79 for 4 in 30 overs (Nihal Ullal 20 n.o., Ajay Yadav 3 for 18). Rain halted play.
