Kariyappa (80), son of late Maridasappa (a milk vendor) and a resident of Devaraja Mohalla, passed away yesterday.

He leaves behind five daughters, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
