Mysuru: The District Committee of Bharat Seva Dal, Mysuru, has organised National Flag and National Anthem Awareness programme on Aug. 10 (Saturday) at 10 am at the Office of Bharat Seva Dal, Sahukar Chennaiah Road, near Maruthi Temple, Saraswathipuram in city. 

 MLA L. Nagendra will inaugurate the programme. Seva Dal District President N. Narasimha Swamy will preside. Former State President of Seva Dal D. Madegowda, Seva Dal State General Secretary M.V. Deviprasad, Corporator C. Vedavathi and South Zone BEO Shivakumar will be the chief guests.

The programme will educate the participants about history and significance of National Flag including Flag code of India, hoisting the Flag with due decorum and honour and other related information related to National Flag and Anthem. 

As Independence Day is round the corner, any individuals or institutions including Women Welfare Associations and Anganwadi workers can participate in this programme, according to a press release.
