‘Vridhi’ bike rally held

Mysuru:  University School of Planning and Architecture, Wadiyar Centre for Architecture, Mysore School of Architecture and National Association of Students of Architecture together had organised ‘Vridhi,’ a bike rally-sapling plantation drive in city this morning.

Students of Architecture of city participated in the rally which was aimed to increase the green cover in rural area and create an awareness among people on the importance and urgency of retaining greenery everywhere.

Yaduveer Wadiyar and MP Pratap Simha flagged off the rally at the Jayamarthanda   Gate of Mysore Palace.

The rally passed through K.R. Circle, Devaraj Urs Road, DC’s Office, Krishnaraja Boulevard, Vani Vilas Road, RTO Circle,  JLB Road and Chamundipuram Circle to proceed on Nanjangud Road to reach camping ground where saplings were planted by students and also at Hadajana village.
