Ninth standard student Devaraj, a tribal boy of Nagapura Girijana Ashrama School in Hunsur, has been selected to represent the State in long-jump, after bagging the first place in the District Level Sports Meet. Hunsur Taluk Scheduled Tribe Welfare Officer Chandrashekar, Ashrama School Head Master Lakshman and the teaching staff have lauded Devaraj’s efforts.
