Zoo and Karanji Lake open on Oct. 1 and 8

The Mysuru Zoo and Karanji Lake Nature Park will be kept open for public on Tuesdays (Oct. 1 and Oct. 8) on account of Dasara festivities.

Animals adopted: Following persons have adopted Zoo animals by paying the Adoption Fee: Namratha Vinay, Mysuru, King Cobra (Rs.3,500); Vainavi Vinay, Mysuru, White Peacock (Rs.3,500); H.M. Gopinatha, Mysuru, Ostrich, Indian Cobra, Western Grey Parrot, Spotted Deer and Common Peafowl (Rs.25,000); M.N. Jayakumar, Bengaluru, Grey Parrot (Rs.2,000); Dinesh Kumble, Bengaluru, Indian Cobra (Rs.2,000), according to a press release.
