Mysuru: ‘Me Too,’ the play and ‘Pada Samskruti,’ Radio Series Programme aired by Mysuru Akashavani, have bagged second prize at the State-level Annual Award Contest of Akashavani for the year 2019, the results of which were announced on Oct.31.

‘Me Too,’ written by Vasumathi Udupa and produced by Prabhuswamy Malimath (co-produced by K.B. Meena), highlights about the physical and mental harassment meted out to women and children and how to face them with courage.

‘Pada Samskruti’ is a Radio Series Programme that apprised the listener about Kannada words, their origin and usage in detail. It is a brainchild of retired Asst. Director H. Srinivas, who is also the Producer of the programme (co-produced by S. Lakshminarayana).
