Ishwar Sharma, 10-year-old Yoga Prodigy from Sevenoaks, Kent, represented Great Britain in the European Yoga Championship 2019 held in Bordeaux on Oct.26 and won Gold Medal.

Ishwar Sharma has been promoting healthy living with Yoga and is a strong proponent of yoga to help climate change.

He has won three World Championships in Nepal, Canada, Bulgaria and Euro Asian Championships in Turkey apart from three consecutive UK National Championships.

He was awarded British Indian of the Year 2018 and British Citizen Youth Award by UK Government for contributions to yoga.

Ishwar’s parents Dr. Nanjundiah Vishwanath and Dr. Mamatha Vishwanath, both born and bought up in Mysuru, are Consultant Radiologists in London.
