Mysuru: In view of the Assembly by-polls to be held in the State and to prevent illegal transportation and sale of liquor, Excise Department has opened a Control Room at the office of Deputy Excise Commissioner in Kuvempunagar which can be contacted on Ph: 0821-2541863 or 91644-72271. 

The Dy. Excise Commissioner, in a press release, has asked the public to contact the Control Room if they come across any illegal storage and transportation of liquor. He said that Excise officials were closely monitoring petty shops in Hunsur for possible illegal storage of liquor and has appealed people to inform the Control Room regarding any such malpractice.
