IndusInd Bank Nagesh Trophy National T20 Tournament for the Blind: Karnataka registers win over Haryana on day-1

Unbeaten knocks of 98 (52b, 18×4) by Sunil Ramesh and 75 n.o. by Lokesh (58b, 10×4), enabled hosts Karnataka to register a facile eight-wicket win over Haryana in the IndusInd Bank Nagesh Trophy National T20 Tournament for the Blind held at JSS-SJCE Grounds here on yesterday. Deepak Malik’s brilliant 138 went in vain for Haryana.

In the other encounter of the day, Delhi beat Goa by 134-runs, with Irfan of Delhi scoring a brilliant 132 n.o. in his team’s score of 262/7 in 20 overs. In reply, Goa were all out for 128 in 20 overs.

Haryana: 213/6 in 20 overs (Deepak Malik 138, Chandan 33, Sunil Ramesh 4/27) lost to Karnataka: 216/2 in 19.1 overs (Sunil Ramesh 98 n.o., Lokesh 75 n.o.). Man of the Match: Sunil Ramesh.

Delhi: 262/7 in 20 overs (Irfan Devan 132 n.o., Lokesh 49, Nilesh 3/47) bt Goa: 128 in 20 overs (Sandip 43, Nilesh 26); Man of the Match: Irfan Devan.
