Mysuru: Marking the Constitution Day, K.R. MLA and former Minister S.A. Ramdas performed Bhoomi Puja for the construction of Gopura to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s bust installed opposite Ashokapuram Police Station on Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, at a programme organised by Ashokapuram’s Bhima Balaga recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramdas said that Dr. Ambedkar took great pains for drafting the Constitution of India, which is a multi-cultural country.

Pointing out that Dr. Ambedkar must be credited for drafting the Constitution in a lucid manner, he said that the present generation should learn about Dr.Ambedkar by reading the Constitution.

Prof. K.S. Bhagawan, Prof. Dayananda Mane, Corporators M.C. Ramesh, Shivakumar and Begum Pallavi, Bhima Balaga President Shanmukha and others were present.
