Mother-Daughter Duet Dance to mark ‘Nritya Aradhana’

In memory of late K. Vanajakshamma, Noopura Kalavidaru Samskruthika Trust, Mysuru, is organising the 22nd annual ‘Nritya Aradhana’ programme at Veene Seshanna Bhavan on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar here on Dec.10 at 6 pm. As part of the programme, under the title ‘Mother-Daughter Duet Dance,’ Vidu. Sabina Lohia and her daughter Chavi Lohia of Bengaluru will present Bharatanatyam which will be followed by Bharatanatyam recital by Nrityagiri Performing Arts and Research Centre (Mysuru) Director Dr. Kripa Phadke and her daughter Pooja Sugam. At the stage prog. to be held at 7 pm, Nandini Nrityalaya Trust (Mysuru) Director R. Kannan and Dr. Kripa Phadke will be conferred with ‘Noopura Sri’ Award. Art patron Kala Seva Ratna K.V. Murthy will preside over the programme. Retired Public Prosecutor T. Mohan Rao will be the chief guest. Jnanashakti Samskritika Sabha President K. Anandarao and Natyacharya Prof. K. Ramamurthyrao will be present.
