Mysuru: ‘Ganesha Sambhrama,’ a digital and traditional art exhibition by Pratyasha Nithin at has been organised at Bharani Art Gallery, M-1198, 3rd Main, 6th Cross, Vivekananda Nagar, here from May 14 to 16 between 11 am and 7 pm.

The expo will be inaugurated by Dr. Sarvamangala Shankar, Vice-Chancellor of  Karnataka State Dr. Gangubhai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru. Rajashekar Kadamba, senior theatrist and Founder-President of Kadamba Ranga Vedike, will preside. Amshi Prasannakumar, Assistant Editor of Kannada Prabha, will be the chief guest. N.B. Kaverappa, senior artist, is the curator-convenor.

Artist’s profile: Pratyasha Nithin is a self taught artist and graphic designer from Kanpur UP, presently residing in Mysuru. Trained in Mysuru and Tanjavoor Schools under the guidance of M.S. Anand, is well-versed in creating traditional paintings of deities, colourful and exquisite digital art and designs for different decoration products like pillow cases, phone covers, wall art and coffee mugs.  As a CS graduate, she uses graphic design software tools like autodesk, sketchbook etc. to create art and market them on the internet. Though this is her first solo exhibition, she has previously displayed her art works in Mysuru Dasara Exhibition and has also designed covers of books ‘Musings on Hinduism’ and ‘Sri Dakshinamurthy: Guru, Ishwara and Atman.’ She has also participated in Chitra Santhe and been a part of Chitraveda (illustration of Rigveda Samhita Patha).
