Annual Feast at Infant Jesus Cathedral from Jan. 11 to 19

 Mysuru/Mysore: The Annual Feast of the Infant Jesus Cathedral on Hunsur Road will be celebrated from Jan. 11 (Saturday) to Jan. 19 (Sunday).

The Annual Feast celebrations will begin with the Flag Hoisting by Fr. Thomas Mangalathil, the Parish Priest at 6.30 pm on Saturday followed by the Holy Mass and Novena. Fr. Renerse Koyickalottu will be the main celebrant for the Holy Mass and Novena at 8 am on Sunday.

 Rev. Frs. Jaison Puthenpura, Ajesh Enayil, Jobish Naripparayil, Judson Nellanikkattu and Shibu Thuruthippally will be the celebrants for the Holy Mass and Novena at 6.30 pm everyday from Jan. 13 to 17.

 V. Rev. Fr. Jomon Kolenchery, Chancellor, Diocese of Mandya, will celebrate the Holy Mass and Novena at 6-30 pm on Jan. 18 followed by the Eucharistic Procession. 

On Jan. 19, the Most Solemn Feast Day, there will be Holy Mass at 7 am. Mar Sebastian Adayanthrath, Bishop of Mandya will be the Main celebrant for the Solemn High Mass in Malayalam at 10.30 am. Around 4,000 devotees are expected to take part in the Annasantharpane at 12.30 pm. Rt. Rev. Dr. K. A. William, the Bishop of Mysuru will celebrate the Solemn High Mass in Kannada at 4.30 pm followed by the grand candle light procession in honour of Infant Jesus in colourful chariot to the Ring Road Junction, Hinkal. Shinkarmela performance and fireworks display will be held at 7.30 pm. Vadakara Kazhcha Communications will stage the Malayalam drama “Dooram Arike” at 8 pm. Arrangements have been made for the Crown offering during the Feast days, according to John G. Kunnel, General Convener.
