Prof. A.P. Chowdaiah (85), retired Principal of the Government Nursing College in Bengaluru, passed away this morning in Bengaluru.

A native of Kollegal, he leaves behind his wife, three sons and a daughter.

Last rites were performed at Bengaluru today, according to family sources.
