City’s ‘Mysuru City Madikattegalu mattu Mahila Sanghatanegalu’ is celebrating Madivala Machideva Jayanthi on Feb.1 at 10 am. As part of the celebrations, a grand procession will be taken out from Kote Anjaneya Temple at Palace North Gate to Kalamandira followed by cultural programmes to be held at Kalamandira. Sri Basava Machideva Swamiji will grace the occasion. District Minister V. Somanna will inaugurate, former MLA G.T. Devegowda will offer flowers to chariot. MLAs Dr. Yatindra Siddharamaiah, S.A. Ramadas and Mayor Tasneem will participate.
