Mysuru/Mysore: Karnataka’s first and country’s third Quality Circles Forum of India (QCFI) Student Cell was inaugurated by QCFI Mysuru chapter at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT),  in city recently.

The guests were: Sathish J. Kalokhe, President, QCFI (India), D.K. Srivastava, Executive Director, QCFI (India), Dr. T. Vasudev, Secretary, MIT, Dr. B. G. Naresh Kumar, Principal,  MIT and Dr. Mohamed Khaisar, HoD, Mechanical Engineering, MIT, Krishna Kumar-Chairman, QCFI Mysuru chapter and T.V. Venkatram-Vice-Chairman, QCFI Mysuru.

MIT Mechanical Engineering HoD Dr. Mohamed Khaisar welcomed. QCFI Mysuru Chapter Chairman Venkataram briefed about QCFI and its principles. MIT Principal Dr. B.G. Naresh Kumar ascertained the role of engineering colleges in developing professional personalities among students. 

QCFI India Executive Director Srivastava highlighted the importance of propagating the quality concepts to all levels of learners. QCFI Mysuru Chairman P. Krishna Kumar briefed on the advantages of becoming a part of QCFI Student Cell. 

QCFI Mysuru Treasurer Vadiraj administered the oath and Abdul Kareem conducted the Student Cell installation ceremony by handing over Student Cell certificate to MIT. 

QCFI Student Cell Faculty Advisor K.J.Yogesh Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.
