College Annual Magazine ‘Jayzine’ released
Mysore/Mysuru: J.S. Amoghavarsha, a Wildlife Photographer and one of the Filmmakers of the documentary ‘Wild Karnataka,’ inaugurated the 14th edition of 2-day inter-collegiate literary and art competition, ‘Shabd 2020’ at JSS Science and Technology University (JSS S&TU) in city recently.
JSS S&TU Registrar Prof. K.S. Lokesh, SJCE Principal Prof. T.N. Nagabhushana, Editorial Board Staff Co-ordinator Prof. Vanishri Arun and student Editors-in-Chief M.U. Vishruth and V. Poornachandra were present.
Prof. Vanishri introduced everyone to the event. Poornachandra presented the annual report of the Editorial Board. Annual Magazine ‘Jayzine’ was released on the occasion. The chief guest was presented with a memento painted by one of the Board members, Sharvari. Sanchitha proposed a vote of thanks.
Pictionary, Creative Writing, Debate, Love Letter writing, JAM, Quiz, Crossword, Poetry, JTGW, Password in Kannada and English and Logo Making, Photography, Pencil Sketching, Painting and Mask Making were the events spread over the two days. There were over 300 participants from colleges of Mysuru and a few participants were from PES College of Engineering, Mandya and RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
