Cash awards

The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) has invited entries from sports persons of the State, who have participated and won medals in national and international level Sports Meets (2018-19) to present cash awards. Sports persons who have won medals in any sports meets except for Olympics, Commonwealth and Asian Games will be either conferred with maximum annual cash award of Rs.5 lakh or two best achievements will be considered for conferment of cash award. For those who have participated or won medals by representing Indian teams, cash award of Rs.50,000 will be given. The entries must be sent to the Assistant Director, DYES, Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, before May 10. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2564179.
