B.S. Prasanna Jettappa (56), Head Constable of the 5th Battalion of KSRP and a resident of Jetty Street in Nazarbad, passed away yesterday following brief illness.

Prasanna, who was part of the STF to nab Veerappan, was awarded Rs. 4 lakh and a 30×40 site by the State Govt. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here last evening.
