July 6, 2020

Bengaluru: With the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continuing to cause havoc across the globe, the Government has decided to cancel the Independence Day Flower Show at Bengaluru’s Lalbagh next month.

Even as COVID-19 positive cases continue to rise alarmingly in Bengaluru, the Horticulture Department  which organises the popular  Lalbagh Flower Show for about a week every year, has decided to cancel the show in the interests of public health and safety. The Department is said to have taken this decision as there is every chance of rampant  spread of the deadly virus as lakhs of people from across the country visit the show.
