Plea to relay inter-locking tiles on footpath at Krishnamurthypuram

July 14, 2020

The inter-locking tiles laid on the footpath from Ashoka Circle (Ballal Circle) towards Ashokapuram have collapsed as the earth below has caved-in forming a pit. This is causing a lot of problems to the pedestrians, especially senior citizens and children, who are now forced to walk on the road risking their lives. Residents said that even footpath that was developed recently is constructed unscientifically as the footpath is more than a feet above the road with pathways to residences forcing the elderly to climb up and down on the footpath. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the pit covered and relay the tiles at the earliest.
