As part of World Senior Citizens Day to be celebrated on Oct.1, the Department for Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens has invited entries from senior citizens and Institutions who have excelled in fields such as Education, Literature, Arts, Legal, Sports, Social Service etc., for conferment of State Award. There are six individual awards and one Institutional award. The prescribed entry forms are available at the Department office and the same must be filled and submitted by Sept.7.
