Mysore/Mysuru: More than 160 women underwent a health check-up at the four-day camp organised by Narayana Multispeciality Hospital and ODP (Organisation for the Development of People) from Sept. 14 to 17 at Kiriya Pushpa Trust premises in Mysuru South.
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Specialist Doctors from Narayana Hospital — Amrutha, Prasad and Sheetal — conducted health check-ups on people who had registered for the camp.
Women from localities such as Ashokapuram, P.K. Colony, Vidyaranyapuram, Bannimantap, Ramabainagar, J.P. Nagar, Nachanahallipalya, Srirampura, K.R. Vanam, Mahadevapura and Devayyanahundi attended the camp and underwent check-up for Diabetes, Blood Pressure (BP), Breathing problems and such other ailments.
Dr. Amrutha gave a talk on the precautionary and safety measures to be taken, the nutritious foods to be taken for immunity boosting and consumption of boiled water in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
The team of doctors who were part of the camp were felicitated at the valedictory held on Thursday.
ODP Director Fr. Alex Prashanth Sequeira, Programme Co-Ordinator Yamuna, Melwin, Kiriya Pushpa Trust’s Jayabalan, Bhagya, Manchamma and others were present.
