Mysore/Mysuru: Lions Club of Mysore celebrated Teachers’ Day and Engineers’ Day at Lions Bhavan in Tilaknagar here on Saturday.

Lions Clubs International District 317A District Governor N. Jayaram inaugurated the function and explained the service activities of the Club.

J. Venkatesh, Chairman, Department of Automobile, PES College of Engineering (PESCE), Mandya and H. Sathyaprasad, Principal, Vijaya Vittala PU College, were honoured with ‘Best Teacher’ award. B. Shivanna, retired Assistant Engineer of Vani Vilas Water Works (VVWW – UGD Section) – Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), was felicitated with ‘Best Engineer’ award.

On this occasion, a bulletin was released. Regional Chairman J. Lokesh, Zonal Chairman Pratima Ramesh, Lions Club of Mysore President M.S. Mohan, Secretary Githa Krishnamurthy, P. Ramesh, Mohan Kumar, Umapati, B. Bharathi, Mamatha, Girish, Muktha, Suresh, T.L. Shashikumar and L. Unnathi were present.
