Apprenticeship in Journalism

The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited applications from SC/ST candidates for apprenticeship in Journalism for a duration of ten months. Two candidates in each of SC and ST communities will be selected on merit basis and interview to be conducted at district offices of the Department and each selected candidate will get a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month. In case of non-availability of candidates who have passed degree/ PG in Journalism in Mysuru district, eligible candidates from other districts will be considered. Interested may collect application form from the Department office and submit the filled-in forms along with copies of SSLC, degree and PG marks card, cast certificate, two passport size photographs and other relevant documents in duplicates to the office before Nov. 10.
