The Ambassador car (KA-01-G-2785), which was being used at the Mysuru District Consumer Commission will be auctioned publicly on directions from the State Consumer Commission on Dec. 21 at 11 am at the District Consumer Commission premises in city. The car will be auctioned at the present condition and those interested to participate in the public auction can do so with certain conditions by depositing Rs. 2,000 in advance. Apart from the final bidder, the advance deposits would be returned to others on the spot and the final bidder should pay the bid amount on the spot and transport the vehicle at his/her own cost. The Chief of the District Consumer Commission has the right to approve or reject the auction, according to a press release from the District Consumer Commission Assistant Registrar and Administrative Officer.
