Mysuru doctors join protest against ‘Mixopathy’ in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Opposing the Centre’s decision to allow Post-Graduate Ayurveda doctors to formally practice general surgery, including ortho and dentistry, about 20 doctors from Indian Medical Association (IMA), Mysore Branch, joined the 24-hour hunger strike  (from 10 am today till 10 am tomorrow) in front of IMA State Unit building at Chamarajpet in Bengaluru this morning. IMA Mysore Branch President Dr. B.N. Anandaravi, President-Elect Dr. Sujatha S. Rao, Secretary Dr. N. Chandrabhan Singh and others took part in the protest. 

The hunger protest is part of the nationwide relay hunger strike, which began on Feb. 1 and would continue till Feb. 14.
