Online music and special percussion concert ‘Mridanga Taranga’ tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: City’s budding young talent M.S. Keerthana will be rendering an online Karnatak classical vocal concert on Sunday (Feb.14) from 6 pm to 7 pm.  Disciple of senior musician Vidu. Dr. R.N. Sreelatha and daughter of popular mridanga artiste Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy, she will be accompanied on violin by Vid. M.D. Arjun and on the mridanga by Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy. 

This will be followed by a special percussion concert ‘Mridanga Taranga’ by Vid. Shivashankaraswamy, accompanied by Vid. C.N.Thyagaraju on violin, from 7 pm onwards. 

Vid. Shivashankaraswamy is the founder of ‘Laya Lahari’ and has conducted several percussion ensembles across the State, drawing admiration from music lovers.

Both the events will be streamed live on the facebook page of Shri Sharada Samskruthika Sangha, at https://tinyurl.com/sri-sharada. 

Music-lovers are requested  to watch and encourage the city’s artistes.
