The following individuals and institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the Adoption Fee: Sanjeev Nichani, Pune – Great White Pelican & Asiatic Black Bear (Rs. 50,000), Tanvi Balgar, Mysuru – Barasingha (Rs. 7,500), Surabhi Balgar, Mysuru – Black Swan, (Rs. 7,500), S. Sarah, Mysuru – Cockatiel (Rs. 1,000) and Jeetendra D. Rajdev, Bengaluru – Great Indian Hornbill (Rs. 5,000), according to a press release from the Zoo Executive Director.
