Due to shortfall in power production in the district, there is some disruption in power supply to IP sets. However, the CESC has taken measures to offset this power disruption, by supplying power between 12 midnight and 4 am  on all days. As the disruption in  regular supply is expected to continue for one more week, the CESC authorities have appealed IP set owners and other consumers getting power from IP feeder lines, to co-operate, according to a press release.
