Staging of plays at Natana

Mysuru: Natana  School of Theatre Arts will be staging two new plays ‘Kempu Kanagale’ and ‘Kamaladevi – Kuch Yaadonki Panne’ at its premises in Ramkrishnanagar on June 11 and 12 at 6.30 pm.

‘Kempu Kanagale’ is based on Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Raktha Karabi’ and has been translated by Sudha Aadukala. Dr. Sripada Bhat has scored music and also directed by the play.

On June 12, Seagull Theatre Group, Guwahati, will be staging the play ‘Kamaladevi – Kuch Yaadonki Panne’  written by Vydehi. The play is based on the life of freedom fighter Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay.
