Learn krithis online

Sri H. Yoganarasimham, a well-known scholar in Sanskrit, English and Philosophy, was a very competent musician and composer. He has composed nearly 40 krithis. Ganabharathi, in its effort to popularise composers of Karnataka, is organising online classes based on some of his krithis. Well-known music teachers VidushiSukanyaPrabhakar, Vidushi R. N. Srilatha and VidwanBallaryRaghavendra will be part of this classes.

VidushiNeerajaAchuta Rao, daughter and disciple and Vidushi M.A. Jyothi, grand-daughterofYoganarasimham will also teach some krithis. These programmes will be available on YouTube and facebook pages of Ganabharathi. Scripts for all his krithis are available in book form on Ganabharathi webpage. One krithi will be taught every Friday at 9 am from Apr. 16.
