Mysuru: Udayagiri Police have arrested a person along with a scooter on charges of waylaying a person and snatching a mobile phone from the victim.

The accused has been identified as Syed Mehaboob, a resident of Shanthinagar in city.

The Police, who subjected him to interrogation, came to know that he was also involved in two-wheeler theft and the scooter that was with him was a stolen one.

Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
