Abdulla Shariff alias Riyaz (80), son of late M.G. Dastagir and a resident of Bannimantap, passed away yesterday night following heart related problems in Bengaluru.

His wife had pre-deceased him a few years back. He leaves behind his brother Dr. Mujeeb-ur-Rahman Shariff and a host of relatives and friends. Abdulla Shaiff was a social worker and had done innumerable works in the field of education.

Burial took place in Bengaluru this afternoon.
