More than 300 senior citizens of Dattagalli get jabs

Mysore/Mysuru: More than 300 senior citizens of Dattagalli, coming under Ward No. 46  received jabs at a COVID vaccination drive held at the office of area Corporator M. Lakshmi Kiran Madegwoda near Netaji Circle in Dattagalli here yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, Lakshmi Kiran said that more than 300 senior citizens of the ward received jabs for free in the vaccination drive. 

Pointing out that a similar vaccination drive will be held near Ganapathi temple in Ramakrishnanagar I-Block, she said that people should be more alert as the second wave of the attack is proving more deadly than the first one that broke out last year. She appealed the people to co-operate in checking the spread of the virus by following COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour in the interest of their own health and safety.

Retired DHO Dr. Parashivamurthy, Kiran Madegowda, MCC Health Inspector Prakash,  MCC staff Naziabanu, Annapurna and others were present.
