He was speaking after inaugurating the programme at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road organised by Sugama Sangeetha Academy Trust, here on Saturday and said, “In the last couple of years the doctors in Mysuru have been organising music programmes involving film songs sung by the doctors themselves. However, this is the first time probably that a group of doctors have come together to sing songs penned by great Kannada poets.”

Senior Sugama Sangeetha artiste H.R. Leelavathi said that many who have learnt in the Academy have gone on to become very good singers in the society. And what is unique is even doctors are there in this galaxy of singers.
