Symposium on Natl. Education Policy at VVCE on Sept. 27

To create awareness on National Education Policy-2020 (NEP-2020), Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, is organising a one-day symposium on National Education Policy-2020 on Sept. 27 at 10.30 am at Sports Complex, VVCE Campus, Gokulam. The symposium will be inaugurated by Minister for Higher Education Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan in the presence of Suttur Seer Sri ShivarathriDeshikendraSwamiji and Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Sri NirmalanandanathaSwamiji. Dr.Karisiddappa, Vice-Chancellor (VC), VTU, Belagavi, PratapSimha, MP and L. Nagendra, MLA will be the guests of honour.

Gundappa Gowda, President, Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS), Mysuru, will preside. P. Vishwanath, Secretary, VVS, Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, staff of VVS institutions will be present. Dignitaries will inaugurate the newly built Sports Complex and Hostel Block in the premises of VVCE. The book authored by Gundappa Gowda “Nammuru, NammaHemmeKumbarakoppal” will be released.

Panel discussion:Prof.Karisiddappa, VC, VTU; Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, VC, University of Mysore; Prof. K. Bhyrappa, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Adichunchanagiri University; Prof. M.K. Sridhar, Member, Draft Committee, NEP-2020; Prof. S. Vidyashankar, VC, KSOU; Prof. T.V. Kattimani, VC, Central Tribal University, Andhra Pradesh; Prof. S. N. Hegde, former VC, University of Mysore and Prof.Lingaraj Gandhi, VC, Bangalore City University, will be the eminent speakers at the panel discussion on “Effective Implementation of NEP-2020 for Autonomous and Non-Autonomous Institutions.”
