Elder Citizens Council to celebrate ‘Senior Citizens Day’ on Oct. 31

The Elder Citizens Council, in association with Elder Citizens Viswastha Mandali Trust, will be celebrating ‘World Senior Citizens Day’ at its Saraswathi Samudaya Bhavana on Hospital Road in Jayalakshmipuram here on Oct. 31 at 11 am. The programme will be inaugurated by MLA L. Nagendra. Retired Vice-Chancellor of Sanskrit University-Bengaluru, Prof.  Padma Shekar will be the chief guest. Elder Citizens Council President Krishnappa Gowda will preside.

Elder Citizens Viswastha Mandali Trust Chairman S.V. Goudappa will be present on the occasion. Journalist Amshi Prasannakumar and retd. English Professor Dr. C. Naganna will be felicitated on the occasion.
