Y. Muniyappa (92), retired Railways employee and a resident of Sonar Street in Chamaraja Mohalla here, passed away on Friday in city.

He has also acted in various Kannada films starring late thespian Dr. Rajkumar and other actors.

He leaves behind his wife, one son, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning.
