Puttamma (95), a resident of Sharadadevi-nagar in city, passed away here on Sunday following brief illness.

She leaves behind son R.L. Somasundar, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Sunday evening.
