Applications invited for ‘Jeevajala’ scheme

The Karnataka Veerashaiva-Lingayat Development Corporation has invited applications from eligible Veerashaiva community members coming under Category 3-B, for availing benefits under ‘Jeevajala’ scheme. The applicants must be small land holders owning 2 to 5 acres of unirrigated land, with annual income of less than Rs. 40,000. However, land holders having one acre of land in the districts of Dakshina  Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagalur and Shivamogga, too are eligible to apply.
