Nanjangud: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot when an unidentified vehicle hit the bike near Muddahalli Gate in the taluk on Mysuru-Ooty Highway yesterday.

The deceased rider has been identified as Anil Kumar (29), a resident of Rangupura in Gundlupet taluk. Yesterday morning, Anil was proceeding to Mysuru from Begur and when he near Muddahalli Gate, an unidentified vehicle hit the bike killing Anil on the spot.

Nanjangud Traffic Sub-Inspector Lohit and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and has registered a case.
