Mysore/Mysuru: A 33-year-old woman, who was serving jail term in a murder case, has died of a heart attack at Jayadeva Hospital in city on Saturday.

The deceased woman is Radha, a native of Halebeedu in Hassan district.

On Mar. 22, Radha complained of severe chest pain and was immediately rushed to K.R. Hospital where she was admitted in the Jail Ward at the hospital and was later shifted to Jayadeva Heart Hospital, where she breathed her last on Saturday.

Radha, who was arrested in 2015 in a murder case, was convicted in 2017 after she was found guilty of the crime. She was serving jail term at Mysore Central Prisons since then.
