‘Power Cup’ floodlight cricket tournament was organised by KHB Sports Association (KHBSA) as part of the birth anniversary of sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar on Mar. 26 and 27 at Water Tank Grounds in Vijayanagar 4th Stage in city.

A total of 26 teams participated in the tournament with 30 yards floodlight match of four overs in league and six overs in final.

Winners – Golden Eagles; Runners – Future Cricket Club; 2nd Runners – Hootagalli Dosths; 4th place – Power Stars Hootagalli.

Best Bowler – Ravi (Golden Eagles); Best Batsman – Amruth (Future Cricket Club); Man of the Series – Hemanth (Future Cricket Club).

While winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000, runners-up took home Rs. 10,000 and 2nd runners-up bagged Rs. 5,000 cash with a trophy each. Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda inaugurated the tournament. MCDCC Bank President G.D. Harish Gowda, ZP Member Chandrika Suresh, Karnataka Exhibition Authority Chairman Hemanth Kumar Gowda, Actor Virat, Gram Panchayat Member Siddaraju, KHBSA-Hootagalli President A. Manu, Chethan Yogaraj, Darshan, Pawan, Rakshit, Keerthan Kaverappa, Siddegowda, Prasanna, Prashanth and other registered members were present.
